The Junior Achievement in Fashion Program aims to nurture students and young designers, prepare them for the industry.
Our Denim Tour is guided by industry experts, introducing participants to the basics of denim, the traditional denim production and washing process, so as the sustainable technologies using in the denim industry.
The tour begins at our Fashion Designer Incubation Centre, displaying machinery for traditional denim washing and garment production. Then we guide our participants to the Jeanologia centre, introducing them to novel sustainable machinery for denim finishing, such as the e-flow machine and the laser machine.
Through this tour, we would like to show the strength in sustainability of the fashion industry, especially in highly polluting sectors such as denim, so to raise the awareness to sustainability and encourage young designers to explore sustainable fashion in their designs.
